Salah

Our Center

The land of India has been home to followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) since ancient times. As of 2020, the estimated Shia population in India ranges between 50 to 60 million, spread across different regions, with major centers in Lucknow and Hyderabad. Lucknow, in particular, has long been recognized as the center of Shi’ism and Islamic studies in India. Historically, it has produced great scholars and Mujtahids, and even today, it remains a significant hub of religious learning.
